All-electric parcel delivery firm Hived has secured additional funding to help it continue to accelerate its UK rollout, with plans to accelerate hiring, fuel its expansion into several new UK cities, further develop its proprietary models, including HIVEDmind, and grow its engineering and data team.
The Sseries B investment, which was led by NordicNinja and also involved existing investors, is the company’s third fund raising round, which began with seed funding in 2021, followed by its Series A announcement in 2023.
Since then Hived has delivered over 6.5 million parcels across Greater London for clients, including John Lewis, Nespresso, Uniqlo and Zara, and boasts 99% on-time delivery.
The company now employs more than 120 staff, with 20% having initially joined the company as drivers, and boasts high service levels, with customer satisfaction ratings running at over 90%.
Announcing the Series B funding, the company said: “This investment puts Hived on track as we scale nationwide, building our AI-powered, customer-centric and all-electric delivery network.”
“Parcel delivery should feel seamless, not stressful, but most of the industry is still running on systems that were never designed for ecommerce.”
“At Hived, we’ve taken a fresh approach – rethinking everything from first principles, putting technology and experience at the centre, and proving there’s a better way to do this at scale. This raise is a huge step forward in making great delivery the norm, not the exception.”
Hived co-founder and chief executive Murvah Iqbal added: “Parcel delivery should feel seamless, not stressful, but most of the industry is still running on systems that were never designed for ecommerce.”

Tomosaku Sohara, NordicNinja managing partner, commented: “Hived is doing what no one else in logistics has managed to do – pair a truly outstanding consumer experience with deep operational control.
“They haven’t just improved delivery, they’ve reimagined it from the ground up, with technology as the foundation, not an afterthought.”
“This means their technology isn’t just modern, it’s built to scale. We believe Hived has the platform, the team, the operational excellence and the momentum to reshape the future of parcel delivery and we’re proud to back them as they expand across the UK.”
Iqbal added: “We are extremely grateful for the support from NordicNinja who led this round, with participation from Planet A, Wex Venture Capital, Marunouchi Innovation Partners, Elemental Impact, Yamato Holdings, Future Back Ventures by Bain and Co as well as Rocketship VC.
“As the momentum continues, we are looking forward to the continued growth journey ahead, collaborating with our fantastic customers and investors, as we continue to build the UK’s most loved parcel delivery network.”
