It probably won’t come as a huge shock that this year’s Motor Transport Awards are moving online.
We are naturally disappointed that our black-tie ceremony, widely known as THE event of the year for our sector, won’t be taking place in 2020.
Goodness knows we all deserve a good night out!
But we will always put safety first, as we know all of you do every day in your operations.
The good news is that the 34th annual awards will be broadcast from 7pm on Wednesday 7 October on the Motor Transport Awards website, and the calibre of entrants is higher than ever.
You can see this year’s full shortlist here and more details about the occasion will follow in coming weeks.
And without the usual restrictions on the number of people we can welcome at the venue, we hope more teams than ever will join us to honour the companies setting new standards for safety, innovation and excellence.

Finally, for now, we’re excited to share that next year’s event will take place on Wednesday 7 July 2021 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, so please save the date. We absolutely cannot wait to see you all in person then!
