Covid-19 safety kits are being handed out to Michelin Service Pro dealers to protect staff and employees across the UK and Ireland.

The free packs are part of a drive by the tyre firm to supply more than 2,000 dealers with enhanced safety materials as more vehicles return to the roads.

The packs contain tips and advice to help dealers operate safely during the pandemic, including guidelines for workplace and vehicle hygiene, documented cleaning schedules and interacting safely with customers.

They also include customer welcome notices, social distancing posters, social distancing floor stickers, hand wash guidelines, masks and alcohol hand and surface sanitisers.

Chris Smith, Michelin UK MD, said: “There’s rightly a huge focus on personal safety in the current climate, but we’re reminding all fleets of the need to drive safe, and stay safe.

“We want operators and their drivers to feel confident they can visit a Michelin Service Pro dealer, or request a mobile call-out, when they need new tyres.”
