There were significant fleet increases at DSV Road and Yusen Logistics this week, MT’s latest data report showed.

DSV increased the number of HGVs it is operating by 51 to take its total to 338; Yusen Logistics successfully applied to boost its fleet by 30 trucks to now be running 553. Both companies also increased the number of trailers they are operating, by 63 and 60 respectively.

Furniture Village, Superdrug, Olleco and James Kemball were other operators increasing their fleet numbers within the last week.

Meanwhile, KBC Logistics reduced its authorisation by 150 HGVs and 150 trailers to now be running 250 and 250.

FCC Environment (UK) reduced its HGVs by 90 and is now operating 966 and MacFarlane Group cut its trucks by 12 and is running a total of 153.

New arrivals in MT’s data were Graylaw International Freight, which now holds a licence authorising 64 lorries and 75 trailers; Robinson Contract Services (75 HGVs and 60 trailers) and ICS (UK) (64 and 15).

MT Fleet Data is based on the weekly O-licence updates issued by the office of the traffic commissioners.

Subscribers can quickly identify operators in each of the eight traffic areas based on the number of vehicles on the licence and type of operator.

The data available includes operator profiles, directors and depot addresses.
