Logistics specialist LTS Global Solutions has secured a BRCGS AA grade for storage and distribution following an audit.
It said attaining the grade enabled the Coleshill-based firm to progress with its plans to expand in the ambient food sector and provide freight, warehousing and distribution services to domestic and international businesses.
Designed for logistics operators dealing with food, packaging and consumer products, the BRCGS standard reflects best practice, as well as facilitating well-designed risk-based product safety management systems.
It serves as evidence that organisations can adhere to regulatory mandates for the safe storage and distribution of food products.
