Logistics UK has added a new module to its driver and vehicle compliance platform Vision, which includes customisable checklists and templates for assets, vehicles and incidents.

The digital checklist module Vision Check allows drivers to complete their daily walkaround checks with ease and they can be tailored to meet operators’ specific needs.

The business group added that it had also redeveloped the mobile phone app to give drivers instant access to compliance information.

Jemma James, Logistics UK digital development director, said: “Compliance is no longer a tick-box exercise and forward-thinking companies are now leveraging the data they collect to drive efficiencies and deliver operational gains.

“The latest development of the Vision compliance platform, including the launch of our new driver app, makes collecting and processing data straightforward, bringing clarity to an operator’s business and allowing them to improve working practices.”

She added: “We always develop Vision in line with users’ feedback and the new driver app is our most powerful tool yet.

“The app has been overhauled to ensure that drivers can now see their remaining driving hours, weekly rest status and working time periods, all in one place.

“It also integrates with Vision Check meaning drivers can use the app to complete asset, vehicle and incident checks.”
