Knowles Logistics has renewed its contract with foodservice supplier Atlante for another four years.
The agreement extends a collaboration dating back to 2015 and the company said the new deal cemented its role as a key strategic partner to Atlante in the UK.
Knowles collects containers from London Gateway and Felixstowe ports using its own transport fleet, destuffs and stores the products, and facilitates deliveries to Sainsbury’s 21 regional distribution centres, moving 800 tonnes of stock weekly.
Atlante described Knowles as a “calming skipper,” guiding the company through volatile market conditions with its warehousing and distribution solutions.
Natasha Linhart, chief executive of Atlante, said: “This agreement reinforces our commitment to strengthening our partnership and delivering excellence to our UK clients.
“Knowles plays a crucial role in ensuring that the final stage of our end-to-end process is seamless, efficient, and sustainable. We look forward to continuing our successful collaboration.”
Knowles MD Alex Knowles added: “Our relationship has been built on trust, collaboration, and a shared vision for providing a best in class service.
“This renewal not only highlights the strength of our relationship but also reflects our commitment to providing agile, sustainable, and high-quality solutions.
“We look forward to the next four years of growth and innovation together.”
