Knights of Old has won a two year distribution contract with packaging provider Povoas Packaging.
The deal will see Knights of Old deliver products from Midlands-based Povoas to businesses across the whole of the UK, spanning “from Scotland to Cornwall”.
Povoas said it chose the operator because it is Midlands based, as well as its BRC accreditation for storage and distribution, which it described as “central to its business values”.
Two dedicated vehicles will work on the contract on a daily basis, with added groupage where necessary. One of the trucks is owned by Povoas and carries the company’s livery (pictured).
Mark Kendall, commercial director at Povoas Packaging, said: “We were very impressed with Knights of Old’s ability to put together a complete logistics solution for our needs. We look forward to a successful relationship.”
