A virtual version of Logistics UK’s transport manager conference is taking place next month for those unable to attend in person.

The business group said Virtual Transport Manager will cater for those who cannot travel to an in-person event, or who don’t have time for all the sessions in one go.

The virtual one-day conference on Friday 21 November will follow the same format as the in-person events currently being held around the country.

The traffic commissioner for the West Midlands, Miles Dorrington, will speak at the event and outline the TCs’ priorities for the year ahead and how to avoid non-compliance.

Kevin Green, Logistics UK’s acting chief executive, said: “We understand that attending in-person events is not always convenient, however, it is still essential for transport managers to stay informed about the latest regulations and compliance updates.

“Just like our in-person events, Virtual Transport Manager 2025 will deliver all the key briefing information needed to stay up to date, and we would urge anyone who has not been able to attend an in-person event to secure their place.”

Transport Manager is a recognised Continuing Professional Development event, and attendees will receive a certificate evidencing their attendance, whether they attend in-person or virtually.
