South West Truck & Van (SWTV) bought IVECO’s national MY26 Roadshow to Leigh Court on the outskirts of Bristol last week where customers gained first-hand experience of the latest generation of IVECO vehicle
The SWTV hosted event was part of IVECO’s nationwide MY26 Roadshow covering 2,000 miles across the UK, visiting 14 locations over nine weeks until mid-November, allowing customers and operators to experience the new MY26 range via IVECO’s network of dealers.
The MY26 Roadshow gave operators in the South West direct access to IVECO’s latest vehicles, as well as the opportunity to ask questions to key staff members and discuss how the different solutions could work within their businesses.
There was a broad range of vehicles on hand, spanning light commercial vehicles through to heavy-duty trucks as well electric and alternative-fuel options including the IVECO S-Way, X-Way, Eurocargo, Daily/eDaily, eJolly/eSuperJolly and S-eWay.
SMTV also used the morning of the event to host its own internal awards ceremony to recognise team members who have gone above and beyond in delivering outstanding service, supporting customers and contributing to the success of the business.
Joe Wood, SWTV commercial director at SWTV, said: “It was a brilliant day spent with both our team and customers.
“Beyond showcasing the latest product range, the event also highlighted the importance of local dealer support and fostering good face-to-face relationships with operators.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to allow our customers to get behind the wheel, ask questions and talk to people who understand their businesses. That direct feedback is incredibly valuable to us as a dealer.”
The event also provided an opportunity to explore how South West operators are approaching issues such as efficiency, electrification, connectivity, driver experience, and operating costs as well as navigating changing urban transport requirements and the nearby Clean Air Zones in Bristol and Bath.
Wood added: “With Bristol’s Clean Air Zone continuing to encourage businesses to consider lower-emission transport solutions, Leigh Court on the outskirts of the city, proved the perfect location to test drive and explore the benefits of the new MY26 electric line-up, including the eJolly, eSuperJolly, eDaily and S-eWay.
“As operators increasingly look towards sustainable fleet options, the event showcased how IVECO’s expanding electric range is well-positioned to support customers in meeting both their operational and environmental goals.”
