Digital truck parking expert SNAP is rolling out bookable HGV parking across its European network this summer, which will allow fleet managers and drivers to secure spaces in advance, via SNAP’s online platform or the intruck app.
The technology is already live at several pilot locations, and a full rollout is planned across high-demand freight corridors throughout the continent.
The new booking feature is accessible through SNAP’s digital platform and integrates seamlessly with existing partner sites.
SNAP said it marks a shift towards more predictable routing, safer rest periods, and greater regulatory compliance for hauliers.
The launch comes as the logistics industry continues to face a chronic shortage of secure rest areas, tightening regulations on driving hours, and increasing pressure to improve operational efficiency.
The company said large fleet operators as well as drivers have expressed strong interest in being able to book parking and manage costs through SNAP’s service partner network.
The system enables real-time visibility of vehicle arrivals, helping site operators reduce congestion, allocate resources efficiently, and maximise the use of space.
In addition, site perators can control the number of bookable spaces at their sites, allowing them to adapt to changing conditions and optimise revenue.
Matthew Bellamy, SNAP managing director, said: “With over 200,000 drivers on our platform and partnerships with more than 800 sites, SNAP brings predictability and control to truck parking.
“Our bookable technology is helping fleets plan more effectively and enabling site operators to manage capacity smarter,” he added.
In the past six months, SNAP has seen a 6% increase in truck parking bookings across its network, highlighting growing demand from hauliers for guaranteed rest locations.
SNAP said this upward trend reflects a broader industry shift toward planned, compliant journeys powered by digital tools.
