Digital parking payment provider SNAP has added more than 120 new truck parking locations across its European network.

This milestone marks SNAP’s entry into seven new territories - Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, and Romania.

The expansion is part of SNAP’s strategic acquisition of OTRA’s technology platforms and its IT infrastructure, which the company said will enhance its operational capabilities and allow it to cater to a broader audience.

The integration also introduces over 17,000 new drivers actively seeking SNAP truck parking and related services.

Drivers and fleet managers can now use the SNAP Portal to book spaces at several new locations, using the newly integrated bookable feature.

The company said fleet managers will be able to plan routes more efficiently, with additional parking options available across new European regions, whilst automated booking and transaction features will simplify administrative tasks for both drivers and fleet operators.

Matthew Bellamy, SNAP managing director, said: “As a business, we’re thrilled to offer our new and existing customers an expanded network of truck parking options and cutting-edge IT infrastructure,” said Matthew Bellamy, Managing Director at SNAP.

“This integration is a stepping-stone in our mission to provide a connected journey and an industry-leading network across Europe. It’s not just about locations; it’s about empowering our customers with seamless, efficient, and innovative solutions.”

Bellamy added: “This transition has required exceptional technical expertise and commitment from the SNAP team. Implementing such a significant upgrade comes with its challenges, but their efforts have ensured we can offer the best-in-industry solution to our customers.”
