Renault Truck’s all electric E-Tech T truck will be lighting up Europe as it sets out on its 10,000 km tour of seven countries, which includes the UK.

Dubbed Diamond Echo, the electric truck will be lit up by a unique electroluminescent design across the front and sides of its cab.

The truck set off on 11 April from Renault’s Bourg-en-Bresse plant in France, on what is Renault Truck’s first tour of Europe with a 100% electric truck.

During the tour Diamond Echo will travel more than 10,000 kilometres, making over 60 stops to meet the transport community and demonstrate the truck’s capabilities.

The electroluminescent design, which glows when subjected to an electrical stimulus, is a result of a collaboration with drivers and design and paint specialists. It is based on Lumilor technology and was applied by Demon Paint.

The 18-day UK leg of the roadshow starts on 23 April in Newcastle, with stops from Scotland to the south coast of England planned along the way, including an appearance at Truckfest Lincoln Showground, during 4 and 5 May.

Full details of the UK tour are available on Renault Trucks UK socials #TheGoodTruck.
