Renault Trucks UK & Ireland has appointed Aymeric Larcher as its new MD, succeeding Carlos Oliveira Rodrigues who was promoted to senior VP of Renault Trucks Europe in February.
Aymeric joins the manufacturer from his role as head of key account sales in France, having started at Volvo Group in 2006.
He has held a number of leadership positions at both European and global level. He joined Renault Trucks in 2017, progressing through key commercial roles including key account manager and head of used trucks.
As MD, Renault Trucks said Aymeric would lead the strategic and commercial direction of Renault Trucks UK & Ireland, with his focus on supporting customers across the Renault Trucks range, including the transition to low carbon transport.
Rodrigues said: “The UK and Ireland play a central role in Renault Trucks’ wider European growth strategy, particularly as our industry undergoes profound transformation driven by decarbonisation and evolving customer demands.
“Aymeric’s appointment reflects our commitment to strengthening leadership at this pivotal time for the business.
“He brings a strong track record of delivering results, developing high-performing teams and maintaining a clear focus on customer success.”
