Nominations are now open for the Motor Transport Decarbonisation Power Players 2026, recognising individuals making a tangible impact in cutting carbon across road transport.

Sponsored by the RHA and Zenobē, the Power Players list celebrates the most influential and proactive figures helping to steer road transport towards a net zero future.

Each year, those selected are recognised for delivering measurable progress, championing new approaches and helping others navigate the transition to lower-carbon operations.

Nominees are put forward by the industry itself and drawn from a broad range of stakeholders, including HGV operators, vehicle and technology manufacturers, local and national government, infrastructure providers and trade associations.

Motor Transport is inviting entries for individuals who are inspiring change, whether through hands-on fleet transformation, policy leadership, infrastructure rollout or sector-wide collaboration.

Nominations can be submitted via a simple online form, ensuring those leading meaningful decarbonisation efforts receive the recognition they deserve.

Entries close on 19 June 2026.

Following a rigorous judging process led by a panel of experienced industry experts, the Motor Transport Decarbonisation Power Players 2026 will be announced on 7 October 2026 on the eve of the Motor Transport Decarbonisation Summit.

Richard Smith, MD at the RHA, said: “Decarbonising commercial road transport is one of the biggest challenges facing our industry, and collaboration will be critical to delivering a successful transition to net zero.

“That’s why the RHA is proud to support the Motor Transport Decarbonisation Power Players initiative, recognising the individuals and organisations driving innovation, leadership and meaningful progress across the sector.

“As net zero remains one of the RHA’s core priorities, it’s important we continue to champion practical solutions, share best practice and celebrate those helping move the industry forward.”

Bradley Fox, director of EV Fleet, UK & Nordics at Zenobē, said: “A widely respected barometer, the Motor Transport Decarbonisation Power Players list celebrates people doing something special in our industry. They’re not just innovators or entrepreneurs; they see the weight of the challenge at hand and step up anyway.

“We’re Zenobē, and we make clean power accessible. In our nearly 10-year lifespan, we’ve also taken first steps before anyone else, shaping systems and stability to enable widespread adoption of commercial EVs. We’ve helped first movers get their advantage and (pardon the pun) we’re here for the long haul.

“So, it’s with a sense of fellowship and respect that we support the Power Players. In a complex geo-political climate, forging ahead with decarbonisation is tough. But when we celebrate achievements, we can see more clearly how far we’ve come.”
