National Lorry Week will return from 24–30 June 2026, bringing a week-long focus on the people, businesses and vehicles that underpin UK supply chains.

Organised by the RHA, this year’s campaign runs under the theme “The road that connects everything” and will highlight the scale and importance of road freight, which moves around 85% of UK goods.

The initiative will showcase stories from across the sector, with operators, drivers, apprentices, depots and logistics firms all set to feature. Members and stakeholders will be encouraged to take part through social media activity, events and wider industry engagement.

The campaign will also link into UK Logistics Week, culminating in activity at RTX and Multimodal from 30 June to 2 July.

RHA MD Richard Smith said National Lorry Week is about recognising the industry behind the UK’s day-to-day operations.

“National Lorry Week is about recognising the people and companies behind an industry that keeps the country moving every single day. They are driving business on our roads,” he said.

“Road transport connects communities, supports businesses and underpins supply chains across the UK. Almost everything we buy, use or rely on has spent time on a lorry.

“This year’s campaign gives us a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the sector while also bringing the industry together through UK Logistics Week, RTX and Multimodal.”

RTX show director Vic Bunby said the event will back the wider campaign.

“RTX is proud to support activity around National Lorry Week in the run-up to UK Logistics Week,” he said. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the people and businesses that keep the industry moving while bringing the sector together at one of the most important moments in the transport calendar.”

Multimodal event director Robert Jervis added that the combined activity provides a strong platform for the sector.

“National Lorry Week and UK Logistics Week together provide a strong platform to highlight the importance of logistics, supply chains and road transport across the UK economy,” he said.

Across the week, the RHA and its supporters will share case studies and member stories, alongside industry visits, stakeholder engagement, sponsor activity and video and social content. Live coverage will also take place from RTX and Multimodal.

Members, supporters and stakeholders are being encouraged to share their own content using the hashtag #NationalLorryWeek.
