MAN Truck & Bus UK has won the Innovation Award at the 2026 Emergency Fleet Exhibition and National Association of Police Fleet Managers (NAPFM) Conference.
The award recognises MAN’s work with police forces to develop a standardised vehicle specification for emergency service fleets.
The annual event, organised by West Mercia Police, brings together fleet managers and suppliers serving police, fire and rescue and ambulance services.
This year’s exhibition was held at The International Centre in Telford.
Dave Newbold, West Mercia Police transport and fleet manager, said MAN had demonstrated an understanding of the requirements of emergency service fleets.
“In delivering a standardised vehicle specification approach applicable to Ambulance, Fire & Rescue, Police forces, and other public sector units, MAN has provided a number of useful solutions that create value and, at the same time, help minimise costs.”
Dan George, MAN Truck & Bus UK strategic account manager for TGE, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The NAPFM conference and exhibition is in its 52nd year and has expanded from an event attended by 12 police fleet engineers in 1973 to include fleet managers and staff from police, fire and ambulance services, as well as the Ministry of Defence and government departments.
