European logistics property developer VGP is strengthening its presence with the launch of a second UK site.
VGP Park Sheffield, developed by VGP Developments UK and headquartered in Bristol, is located on a brownfield regeneration site to the east of Sheffield city centre, close to the A361 and Junction 34 of the M1. The scheme will deliver more than 265,000sq ft of high-quality warehouse and office space.
The site is strategically positioned four miles from Sheffield city centre and just 1.5 miles from Junction 34 of the M1, providing strong connectivity across the region. It is situated 42 miles from Manchester Airport and 49 miles from East Midlands Airport.
The development is targeting a BREEAM Excellent sustainability rating and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027.
The Sheffield project follows the launch of VGP’s first UK site, VGP Park East Midlands, which the company acquired from developer Newlands for £20m last year.
Located adjacent to Junction 24a of the M1 and the A50, VGP Park East Midlands offers units ranging from 95,000sq ft to bespoke, build-to-suit facilities designed to support large-scale logistics operations.
