Harris MAXUS UK is strengthening its presence in north-east Scotland with the launch of a new dealership in Dyce, Aberdeen by its long-standing partner AM Phillip.
The move marks a significant expansion of the company’s regional footprint and is part of a wider strategy to grow the dealer group and the MAXUS brand.
The new Dyce facility marks AM Phillip’s return to Aberdeen with a permanent base, which the company said reflects strong, sustained demand from light commercial vehicle operators across the region.
The dealership, which is located in Dyce because of its proximity to Aberdeen and surrounding areas, will provide a full sales, service and parts offering for the complete MAXUS range of diesel and electric models.
The fully-equipped Dyce location will support the growing MAXUS vehicle parc, with trained technicians, specialist diagnostics and access to the national parts distribution network, helping operators maximise uptime and minimise disruption.
The addition of Dyce brings AM Phillip’s total footprint to seven locations across Scotland. The newly developed facility has created 14 jobs, with further recruitment expected as the business grows, which the manufacturer said underlines AM Phillip’s long-term investment in the region and confidence in the local light commercial vehicle market.

Harris Maxus UK is part of the Dublin-based Harris Group and the exclusive distributor of SAIC Maxus commercial vehicles in the UK and Ireland.
Headquartered in Liverpool, the company specialises in electric and diesel LCVs and operates a network of over 90-dealerships.
