Commercial vehicle conversions specialist CPD has refreshed its branding and boosted its management team following strong growth which saw vevicle conversions almost double.
Founded in 2009, CPD Bodies services the logistics, construction, utilities, and emergency services sectors. It operates on a 32-acre site and has secured type approval with all major OEMS.
This year the company has already completed over 5,500 vehicle conversions - up from 2,800 in 2019 - as the business shifted from batch to line production to meet increased demand. CPD can now produces a tipper every 45 minutes, a dropside every two hours and a Luton vehicle every two hours.
In line with its growth drive, CPD and its sister company VanDemand have unveiled a new visual identity and website as part of a comprehensive rebrand.
The refreshed branding comes as CPD Bodies celebrates its 15th year of trading.
Developed in partnership with local Middlesbrough-based branding agency Better and Newcastle-based digital agency Venture Stream, it aims to reflect the company’s forward-thinking approach while retaining its current name.
It introduces a modernised logo and vibrant visual style, alongside a refreshed website designed to make it easier for customers to explore CPD Bodies’ range of services.
The new websites offer a user-friendly interface, allowing fleet managers and sole traders alike to access detailed product information and manage orders more efficiently.
CPD said the refreshed branding underscores CPD and VanDemand’s “ethos of quality, speed, and customer focus, aligning with its mission to continue delivering exceptional service and solutions.”

The management team at the company has also been strenghtened with the addition of Tina Lynas who joins as finance director, bringing over 25 years of experience in financial management within the commercial vehicle industry. Her brief is to guide CPD’s financial strategy as the company continues to expand.
Tom Pearson also joins the team as commercial director, bringing his experience in business development and commercial strategy and a proven track record of growing market share and building strong customer relationships.
