Asset Alliance Group has restructured its senior management team as it consolidates its operations into two divisions covering commercial vehicles and bus and coach.
Anthony Jones (main picture) has been appointed commercial director – commercial vehicles, having previously been head of vendor finance and key accounts. Jones joined Asset Alliance Group in 2021.
Matthew Board (pictured below), who joined the business in 2022 as head of general asset finance, has been appointed head of vendor and corporate accounts.
The changes form part of a move to consolidate the company’s previous four divisions into two: Commercial Vehicle and Bus & Coach. Vehicle, vendor and asset finance activities will now sit within these two divisions.

Jones added the new structure aims to simplify the company’s reporting structure while allowing it to serve a wider range of customers.
“We’ve built an extremely successful business within contract hire that we’re proud of, but we also recognise there are very different requirements between an owner-operator and a business with 100 trucks that we are seeking to address,” he said.
“This new structure will allow us to serve a wider range of customer needs more efficiently.”
The company said the revised structure will also support its work with customers requiring specialist equipment, including trailers and rigids, as well as vehicles for sectors such as waste, construction and car transport.
The group said that while contract hire remains the bedrock of the commercial vehicle business, it added that it has seen strong growth in servicing larger key accounts in recent years.
Its vendor finance offer, led by Jones, has performed strongly too supporting everything from used asset sales through to large-scale fleet renewal cycles, the company added.
