Logistics company Independent Logistics Solutions (ILS), has appointed Marc Ansell as its new business development manager as part of its strategy to drive growth in the Kent and East Sussex regions.
Ansell brings 15 years of sector experience to his new post having worked for a range of pallet networked businesses.
His previous post was as warehouse operations manager for Elite Fine Foods, which he joined in October 2021, after leaving his post as business development manager at Dobbs Logistics, where he worked for 11 years.
Ansell’s brief is to support its senior management team in growing the business which has a diverse customer base from single traders to multinational businesses.
ILS, which is a member of Palletways, was founded in 2013 and employs 35 people. The company provides same-day courier and general haulage and storage services to a variety of local customers, delivering items from bricks, office stationery and garden furniture to fresh eggs.
Commenting on his appointment Ansell, said: “ILS is a member of Palletways, a respected name in the logistics industry, and I’m delighted to be on board.
“I’m keen to further develop our customer base, provide excellent service to customers and grow the order book. I’m looking forward to being a part of ILS’ journey which will see us becoming stronger and more prominent locally.”
