Howard Tenens has secured a contract with ride on lawn mower firm STIHL GB.
Work on the contract, which involves the warehousing and distribution of its mower range to dealerships, commenced in December and is being run out of the operator’s Swindon facility.
Rob Follett, demand planning manager at STIHL GB, said Howard Tenens was selected following a “detailed review process” and was able to offer the company long-term, scalable storage for its products.
“Working with the team at Swindon we had a smooth set up and initial delivery process which ensured we hit the ground running ready for 2015,” Follett added.
Shaun Wilson, Howard Tenens national sales manager, said: “Both our businesses have very similar values, with a commitment to reliability, innovation and partnership. We look forward to developing and expanding the relationship with STIHL GB in the coming years”.
Howard Tenens is taking part in the DfT’s low carbon truck trial and put its first Euro-6 dual-fuel HGV on the road in November.
