Trailer hire specialist Hireco has ordered almost 500 new trailers from SDC, Lawrence David and Dennison for delivery during the first half of 2013.
“These new high spec trailers have been ordered to meet steady demand for quality equipment,” said Hireco MD James Smith. “Hireco is now well placed to look after all our clients’ rental needs.”
Kitted out with BPW axles and suspension, Haldex EBS and Wisatrans floors from UPM, the new trailers are higher spec than the basic equipment often found in trailer rental fleets. Hireco have also fitted 150 of them with IDEM tracking systems, allowing remote trailer diagnostics for faster roadside repairs. The new trailers are also well placed to meet customers’ demands for full ENXL certification and will help Hireco reduce its carbon footprint.
“You don't see Hertz running Ford Sierras,” said Smith. “Our fleet should be commensurate with our customers’ own high standards.”
These trailers are available for rental and contract hire in customers’ own livery.
