Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has leased space at Prologis UK's new Apex Park in Daventry.
The 3PL said it will use the 85,000ft2 facility to service a number of new and existing companies.
Hellmann will move into the site in April this year, once Prologis has completed construction of the park.
Andrew Sulston, director of contract logistics and consulting at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, told MT: “The new distribution centre has been taken on due to continued growth in our contracts, logistics and consulting business in a number of sectors but mainly in fashion retail, B2B and ecommerce, and consumer electronics.
“We already work with Prologis in Europe and the Americas, so we are confident that the team will deliver a high quality distribution centre that will be ready to meet our operational deadline.”
Prologis owns and manages approximately 25 million ft2 of logistics and distribution space in the UK.
Andrew Griffiths, Prologis UK MD, said: “We focus on providing the best opportunities in the market for our customers, so we are pleased that this unit suits Hellmann’s operations so well.”
