Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK said its new contract with packaging firm Schoeller Allibert will be serviced using subcontractors, as well as its own inhouse fleet.
The domestic deal sees Hellmann UK deliver goods across the UK and Ireland and enables it to provide Schoeller Allibert with warehouse management control support too.
Hellmann UK commercial director Matthew Marriott said it was equipped to cater to the company’s requirements, in terms of both domestic distribution and warehouse management support.
In addition, a spokesman said: “The contract will be serviced from the Lichfield central hub and managed locally by selected hauliers and Hellmann Traction Services, which does direct deliveries itself.”
He added: “Hellmann is always interested in subcontractors; it’s ongoing. They do have some already for this contract but they are always interested in hauliers.”
