Gulliver’s Truck Hire will be exhibiting at next week’s Freight in the City Expo and keen to speak with local authority fleet managers and freight operators looking to hire the latest general and municipal vehicles for their operations.
The family-run firm owns a hire fleet of 6,000 late-registration vehicles fitted with the required urban equipment, such as additional mirrors and sideguards, to make them compliant with Fors and Clocs.
Vehicles on the general hire fleet range from small vans through to 44-tonne tractor units, with a range of bodies such as box, curtain-side or refrigerated. Gulliver’s said smaller units up to 18 tonnes are the most popular choice for operators making urban deliveries.
In its specialist municipal division, the company offers a full range of RCVs, sweepers, gully emptiers, skips, hooks, gritters and cranes.
Gulliver’s operates a nationwide network of service centres providing mechanical breakdown assistance 24 hours a day throughout the year. Full fleet management can also be provided.
A spokeswoman told freightinthecity: “Gulliver’s has seen significant growth over the past few years, as more businesses, local authorities and councils opt to contract hire as opposed to outright purchase, eliminating the unknown R&M costs, as these are included within the monthly contract hire price.”
She added: “We would be delighted to meet you and discuss your specific vehicle requirements. Our strength is listening first and then providing a bespoke solution tailored to your individual operation.”
