Bardon, Leicestershire-based Jigsaw has extended its distribution contract with Grace Foods.

The logistics network, made up of 10 haulage partners with the majority share owned by CM Downton, improved the consistency of deliveries since it took over transport for Grace from an in-house operation in 2009.

Grace produces a range of Caribbean, Oriental and Mexican food and drink products with brands including Nurishment, Encona, Grace, Dunn’s River and Silk Road. It supplies supermarkets, specialist retailers, wholesalers and cash & carries across the UK.

Jigsaw MD Andy Humpherson said: “This contract clearly demonstrates the benefits of our network model and its ability to meet Grace Foods’ evolving requirement. It’s an important step in our development that customers such as Grace Foods are choosing to stay and grow with us.”
