Goodwill Supply Chain Solutions appoints new MD

Northamptonshire-based Goodwill Supply Chain Solutions has appointed Chris Clowes (pictured) as MD.

He joins from coffee retailer Costa Express where he held the post of senior international operations manager.

Goodwill Supply Chain Solutions, which has 248,000 sq ft of warehousing and provides 3PL and warehousing services, is a community interest company which invests its commercial revenues into social impact projects. It counts Wickes, M&S, Backro and Speedbac among its customers.

Graham Tomkins, founder and chief executive, said: “Chris will be a great addition to the senior management team, driving the vision of the business as a commercial enterprise which invests and supports the local community.

“He will also develop the training, educational and recruitment aspects of the business. Chris is well known in the supply chain industry.

“His early 3PL experience gained at Christian Salvesen has been the foundation for his subsequent roles - working with high growth businesses, predominantly in the retail sector.

“By using innovative supply chain solutions, matched with an understanding of how to harness technology, Chris will drive both quality of service and operating efficiency throughout the group.”
