Gist has expanded its contract with Young’s Seafood with additional volumes out of its sites in Grimsby and Fraserburgh.
The two parties have worked together for 30 years and Young’s Seafood chief supply chain and procurement officer Stuart Caborn said that Gist’s approach “makes them an ideal partner in our virtual integration programme, which brings together our strategic partners into a project team, collaboratively driving value to deliver mutual benefits to all parties”.
Meanwhile Gist is also expanding its facilities in the Republic of Ireland, after acquiring a warehouse directly opposite its current facilities in Clonshaugh, Dublin.
It will provide services for customers including Starbucks, BOC Gases and Marks and Spencer.
Last month Gist extended its contract with Starbucks in the UK.
