Gatwick-based haulier DNA has expanded its Palletforce postcode to include parts of Guildford.
The company has added GU1-10 postcodes around southern and central Guildford to its KT postcodes around Epsom, Leatherhead and Kingston upon Thames and RH postcodes in Redhill and Gatwick.
DNA is taking over the GU1-10 postcodes from fellow Palletforce member Abacus Transtex which was covering the area on a temporary basis.
Abacus Transtex remains with Palletforce. DNA took over the postcodes due to its strong client base in the area, Palletforce said.
DNA, which has been a Palletforce member for four years, is on a growth drive, gearing up for further expansion in 2021 following a 40% increase in palletised freight consignments since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Tony Bunn, DNA MD, said: “Our Palletforce business has grown significantly over the last 12 months and the superior technology and innovations such as instant weighing, imaging and real time tracking updates are really something that our customers value.
“We have our sights set on growth, both with our pallet network business and our other distribution, consolidation and warehousing services. We are ideally situated in the vicinity of international air and sea ports and we’re seeing increased enquiries for consolidation and cross-docking of freight coming into and leaving the UK.”
Adam Leonard, Palletforce member relations director, said: “DNA taking over the new GU area will secure a permanent reliable and robust service for customers and help the business with its growth plans.
“It’s a challenging area, however, DNA has a strong track record for service and performance and the move allows Palletforce to continue to strengthen its network offering in the South East.”
