Palletforce member Garrett Transport will switch to Pallet-Track this summer.
Based in Little Walden, Essex, the company was founded in 1995 and is currently working its notice period with Palletforce.
It will join Pallet-Track in August covering the CB postcodes - encompassing the Essex and Cambridgeshire regions - and will be the network’s 87 member.
To facilitate Garrett's arrival, Pallet-Track member Bartrums has voluntarily relinquished some of its network area.
Simon Garrett, MD at the haulier (pictured), said: “We had a good relationship with Palletforce, but it was time for a change as we take the next step in our business development.

“I particularly like the member involvement with Pallet-Track and the ethos of the network as it shares many of our own objectives in terms of quality of service and the strategic use of technology.”
“We are a completely different type of business to what we were five years ago. I believe this move will help us to continue to diversify and develop.”
Nigel Parkes, founder and MD of Pallet-Track, said; “Garrett Transport is a welcome addition to the Pallet-Track network as it brings with it an excellent track record.”
A spokesman for Palletforce said the network had two new members joining in July and August respectively that would be taking on Garrett Transport's patch.
