The first MAN fully electric-powered trucks were handed over to customers for trials last week.
MAN Truck & Bus chief executive officer Joachim Drees and Dr Ulrich Dilling, the executive board member for production and logistics, oversaw the handover at the MAN plant in Steyr, Austria, on 13 September.
Companies including HOFER (the operating name for ALDI in Austria), Spar and Quehenberger Logistics (pictured) will put the nine eTGMs through their paces during the next few months.
