EV Cargo’s Palletforce has boosted its membership with the addition of hauliers 2B&C Logistics and Frost Transport Solutions.

Palletforce said that both companies are entering pallet network operations for the first time, with the aim of adding impetus to their long-term growth aspirations.

Banbury-based 2B&C Logistics, which started trading at the beginning of this month, said membership of Palletforce is key to its ambitious business plan.

MD Toby Christman said: “We’re a start-up company, but between us the management team of Lee French, Sarah Kingshott and Sarah Meads has vast experience of the transport and logistics industry.”

Christman, who has spent nearly half of his 30 years in the haulage distribution sector with DHL, added: “We approached Palletforce with the idea of adding that experience, as well as our connections within the sector, to the network, and providing coverage of an area of the country which has traditionally been challenging.

“Having worked with Palletforce before, I was in no doubt that they were the network for us. The Superhub offers a unique one-stop-shop option, while technology innovations such as Alliance have put Palletforce streets ahead of other networks.”

2B&C, which offers warehousing and transport solutions ranging from food manufacturers to a Formula One racing team, will cover OX postcodes around Oxford and Whitney from its distribution centre near the M40.

Family-owned Frost Transport Solutions, established in 2015, is also joining a network for the first time, and will cover NG postcodes in and around Nottingham.

The Bingham-based company, which runs a 16-strong fleet, already works closely with existing network members - and according to MD Chris Frost this is one of the main reasons for choosing Palletforce.

He added: “Palletforce ticks all the boxes for us, in terms of the effectiveness of its operation and our own plans for growth.

“But from our own experience, the strength of the membership is second to none. They share the same values of customer care and service as we do, and we’re delighted to be a part of the UK’s leading network.”

Palletforce network development director David Breeze (pictured) said: “We’re delighted to welcome 2B&C and Frost Transport to the Palletforce family. They will not only strengthen our customer service in two important areas of the country, but between them will bring invaluable experience and expertise to the network.

“Palletforce is able to successfully recruit new to network transport companies as our superior onboarding support ensures seamless tech integration alongside IT, sales and marketing support.”
