Heathrow-based courier Crossflight has acquired the operations of North London firm DDI Worldwide as part of its expansion strategy.
As of today (7 January), Crossflight will run DDI’s express courier, UK overnight and mail services out of its headquarters in Heathrow. Crossflight said the move will be seamless for all of DDI’s customers and the combined company will operate under the Crossflight brand.
Crossflight MD Richard Stoughton said: “This important acquisition not only allows us to grow our business further, but also increases our presence in the courier industry. We believe it is essential to provide customers with a strong, independent alternative to the large carriers.”
DDI managing director Nick Lyne said: “I am delighted to have found a company of Crossflight’s standing to take our business forward and to provide the best possible future for our customers.”
Crossflight provides international express, sameday and UK overnight parcel delivery as well as international and domestic mailing. It also provides storage and distribution services.
