Lubricants blender Exol Lubricants has increased its delivery fleet to 18 vehicles, following the addition of a new Euro-5 Scania unit.
The 13-litre Euro-5 G440 6x2 tractive unit entered operation for Exol in January and was joined in May by a new 36,000 litre Lakeland Tankers trailer with a lightweight chassis and alloy wheels. The combination, which joins a fleet of eight other artics and nine rigids, is being used for national distribution of oils and lubricants and is expected to cover 100,000km a year.
Exol sales director Steve Dunn said the new vehicle demonstrated the firm’s willingness to invest to support its customers more effectively. “As our business grows, so too must our infrastructure,” he commented.
