Dutch logistics group Exintra has put two Volvo FH LNG tractor units into operation on its Primark contract, making regular runs into the UK.

Sander Bogers, chief executive of Exintra Group, said: “Sustainable entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly important to our companies and we notice that more and more clients and consumers are looking for ever more sustainable solutions.

“For our fashion retail customers, this means they not only have to look at sustainable clothing production, but that their logistics operations are also sustainable, with a commitment to reducing CO2 emissions where possible.”

Since being founded in 1998, the group has developed into a pan-European distribution service provider with a portfolio focusing on fashion, lifestyle products, electronics and pharmaceutical industries.
