TNT Post says it has secured a “great coup” after revealing details of a contract it began work on in February to deliver mail for Tesco.
As a result TNT Post, which demerged from parent TNT NV in May 2011, will deliver all of Tesco’s communications with its customers – totaling some 180 million item a year - including its Clubcard scheme and Tesco Bank.
Nick Wells, TNT Post chief executive, says: “Winning Tesco as a client is a great coup for TNT Post and we are proud that our robust operational capability, combined with excellent customer service, and of course value for money, shone through in the tender process.”
TNT Post delivers 3.5 billion items annually for customers including Sky, EON and Barclays.
