Europa Worldwide Group has galloped up the Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250, which recognises the fast-growing companies in the UK, to 107.
The current placing is a leap from 153 in 2019 and 218 in 2018 and follows a year of “unprecedented growth” for the logistics group.
The organisers of the list said 2020 had posed unprecedented challenges for businesses but many had adapted their plans and taken the opportunity to innovate.
In the last 12 months, Europa has opened a new £60m, 715,000 sq ft facility in Corby and increased turnover by 16.5% to £205m.
It has also launched a new customs product, Europa FLOW, in preparation for the end of the Brexit transition period, which aims to minimise transit time delays for importers and exporters.
Andrew Baxter, Europa Worldwide Group MD said: “The Top Track listing is great recognition for us in turbulent times.
“We’ve had some major developments this year, and this is another triumph and I would like to thank every member of the team for their continued hard work in making Europa a success.”
Its success follows Davies Turner’s announcement that it had jumped 42 places in the Top Track 250 to 119th.
