Europa Road has launched a video designed to explain the customs process for importers and exporters to keep the supply chain moving as the UK prepares to exit the EU.

The move came as Europa Road reported a threefold increase in visitors to its web pages after launching its EuropaFlow customs process in early September, which aims to minimise post-Brexit transit delays.

The new video, dubbed The Customs Conundrum, landed just 100 days before the UK exits the EU and explains how customs works and how to keep goods flowing to minimise the impact on businesses.

It covers a range of issues including “T” forms and border clearance and reveals how customs works, why goods get delayed and how to keep them flowing.

Dionne Redpath (pictured), sales and branch network director said: “We are making Brexit simple by offering customers simplified content which is easy to digest. We’ve listened carefully to what customers want which is why we created this film."

Redpath added: “Whether an importer feeling anxious about the impact on the supply chain or an exporter worrying about losing EU business – we have stripped back the detailed information around the customs process to create straightforward, uncomplicated content to help businesses understand how to keep imports and exports running smoothly.”
