Europa Worldwide Group’s freight division Europa Road has opened a new hub offering direct daily services via the ports of Immingham and Hull to Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

The Leeds-based Nordic Hub will target customers based in the north of the UK that need to ship groupage and full and part loads to and from the Nordic countries. It will work on the same principle as Europa’s Dartford hub using the same Leonardo technology which offers full track and trace.

Dionne Redpath, sales director at Europa Worldwide Group, said: “The Nordic Hub has been developed to provide competitive, local collection and consolidation in a centrally-located platform. This launch comes after two years of research and investment.
