Ed Pargeter, founder and owner of EP Training in Bookham, Surrey died suddenly last week aged 67.
A well known and highly respected figure in LGV training Pargeter set up EP Training 32 years ago.
His son Sean, a director of EP Training, said: "He was a true gentleman who always did things the right way and never cut corners. He had strong opinions and will be badly missed by everyone who knew him."
A service will be at St Andrews Church In Cobham, Surrey, on 31 October from 10.30 am. The cremation will take place at Randall's Park in Leatherhead and the wake will be at the Royal Automobile Club in Epsom from 12pm.
Sean has requested no flowers, but instead donations to be made to St. Andrews Church, Cobham and Oasis Family Centre.
