MT Awards 2013 Elddis

Elddis Transport has won the coveted Haulier of the Year title at this year’s Motor Transport Awards, which took place tonight (3 July) at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The Consett-based firm, which is headed by MD Nigel Cook, was one of 18 winners at the sold-out event that celebrates the very best of the road transport industry each year.

Entertainment on the night, to an audience of more than 1,600, was provided by the Rainer Hersch orchestra and comedian Dara O’Briain.
