Europa Worldwide Group has secured an eight-figure funding package from HSBC to support expansion in its Road, Air and Sea, Warehouse and Frictionless Trade divisions.
The group said this included strengthening its European road network, expanding its international air and sea freight services, enhancing customs capabilities and investing in UK warehousing, technology and people to meet rising demand.
The business said it anticipated a 10% increase in turnover in two years as a result of the funding.
Rob Jones, CFO at Europa Worldwide Group, said: “With global supply chains evolving at pace, HSBC UK’s funding gives us the firepower to further strengthen our network, enhance our capabilities and remain a strong and reliable logistics partner for businesses trading globally and within the UK.
“It positions us perfectly for the next chapter in our growth journey.”

Founded in 1966, Europa Worldwide Group has grown into one of the UK’s largest independent logistics operators and recently celebrated its diamond anniversary with a new brand identity and manifesto.
