EFS Global has bought Lincolnshire-based freight company Caistor Distribution for an undisclosed sum.
The deal follows a string of other acquisitions made by EFS in recent years including Euro SDB, 747 Express Freight, Logictrans UK, RTS Refrigeration and FWD Freight Services.
Caistor Distribution provides specialised logistics services including pallet distribution, general haulage and warehousing, both in the UK and internationally.

It holds an O-licence in the east of England for 40 HGVs and 30 trailers running out of an operating centre in Market Rasen.

“Caistor Distribution is a great addition to our business and will help to drive our service offering even further.”
EFS Global was founded in 1996 and employs around 325 staff across depots in Burnley, Manchester, Skipton, Bradford, Preston, Immingham and Liverpool.
Last year it joined the Palletways network.
