Two connected Dorset hauliers have collapsed into administration, prompting concerns over almost 40 jobs at the Wimborne firms.
Poole Bay Warehousing and Three Legged Transport appointed administrators at Leonard Curtis on 17 September.
Both haulage firms operate out of the same base on the Woolsbridge industrial estate in the south west market town, according to office of the traffic commissioner records.
Poole Bay runs 15 lorries and Three Legged Transport 12 under standard national operator licences.
Abbreviated accounts for both businesses described each other as an “associated company”, with Poole Bay Warehousing owing Three Legged Transport just over £160,000 in an interest free loan during the year ending 31 August 2024.
The accounts also said Poole Bay employed 18 staff and Three Legged had an average of 20 employees during the period.
Leonard Curtis had not responded as Motor Transport went to press.
