DHL Supply Chain has landed a new five-year deal with Revolution Beauty after impressing the cosmetics brand with its automated e-fulfilment technology.
The contract, which kicks off in September this year, will see DHL scale up its existing robotics and automated solutions to manage the e-commerce fulfilment of UK and international orders for Revolution Beauty.
The company will use a new technology solution using Six Rivers Systems’ pick assisted robotics to offer improved lead times and to streamline packaging.
Jon Yates, global operations director at Revolution Beauty, said: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with DHL Supply Chain for our e-commerce fulfilment.
“DHL’s world class reputation in supply chain excellence is a perfect fit for our rapid growth.
“The automated solution, along with the DHL team themselves, were key factors in our decision making for our next e-commerce fulfilment contract, as we continue to strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
Tia Wallace, e-commerce development director at DHL Supply Chain UK and Ireland, added: “Revolution Beauty is an exciting beauty brand in the UK, with an impressive track record of growth over the past few years.
“We’re excited to be joining forces to support the company’s next phase of its global growth strategy and help achieve its long-term goals.
“We are confident that we have the tools and capabilities to not only enhance Revolution Beauty’s operations but also improve sustainability alongside the overall experience for its customers.”
