DHL Parcel UK has taken over the Pass My Parcel network today (1 October).
Pass My Parcel owner Connect Group announced in June that it was to close down the venture as part of a three-step programme to turn its fortunes around.
However, it has now reached an agreement with DHL Parcel UK, previously UK Mail, which has seen the latter take over the network and avoid shutting it down.
In a statement the companies said they would be working together over the coming months to support parcel shop members as the new service from DHL Parcel UK is introduced.
It is expected that the transition will be completed by June 2019, they added.
