Cloud-based software firm Descartes Systems Group (DSG) will showcase its latest AI-enabled fleet telematics solutions at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham next month.

The company will demonstrate how its software tools helps operators of all sizes gain real-time visibility and optimise delivery performance.

Andrew Tavener, head of fleet marketing at DSG, said: “Fleet operators can’t afford to settle for an ‘OK’ performance anymore.

“With margins under pressure, rising customer expectations, and increasingly demanding sustainability targets, there’s more pressure than ever on fleet operators today.

“Because of this, organisations that actively seek smarter, data-driven ways to operate will gain a clear edge in the current climate.

“AI-powered route planning and proactive customer notifications allow operators to continuously refine route plans, improve safety, enhance ETA accuracy and make smarter long-term decisions about fleet composition and depot strategy.”

The innovations the company will showcase include a suite of AI-enabled tech safety tech covering driving behaviour, service time predictions and delivery risks.

Descartes will also be speaking in the technical theatre at the CV Show across the three days.

The event takes place at the NEC Birmingham between 21-23 April.
