DBL Logistics secures healthy seven-figure contract win

DBL Logistics has won a long-term UK distribution deal with health products maker Robinson Healthcare.

The deal involving “a substantial seven-figure contract”, according to DBL, will see the Sheffield-based haulier and logistics firm become dedicated transport contractor for Robinson.

DBL has been working with the firm since 2010 and already transports more than 15,000 pallets annually for Robinson, which manufactures single-use products for medical professionals, pharmacists, distributors, retailers and consumers across the country.

DBL Logistics, a founding member of UPN, has seen turnover grow to more than £3m in the last year and is currently building a new 33,500sqft warehouse and office building on Tinsley Park Road in Sheffield, due for completion by the end of 2013.
